To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year – the Year of the Snake/the Small Dragon, and bid farewell to the Year of the Dragon, the Confucius Institute at Portland State University proudly presents a show of “Amazing China” 魅力中国, showcasing Chinese opera, Chinese vocal music, instrumental music, Chinese marshal art Wushu and acrobatics which was performed by Confucius Institute of Chinese Opera at Binghamton University (宾汉顿大学) with China’s national class-one performers from The National Academy of Chinese Theater Arts (中国戏曲学院）. This event is co-sponsored by Portland Chinese Times and PSU Chinese Students and Scholars Association. Please click links below to view the flyer and program.

The number of tickets for the show is limited, and it is first come first sold. Tickets can be purchased at the Confucius Institute at PSU (632 SW Hall Street, Room 306 /PSU campus). Please email (cipsu@pdx.edu) or call 503-725-9810 for ticket information and sale. You can get discount ticket from Tickets West: http://www.ticketswest.com, searching under Chinese New Year and they will find the advance purchase price for the show ticket is $8/ticket. This offer will expire on 2/8/2013.
